Granada Child Care offers few options from full-time to part-time enrollment.
We are open from 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday a€“ Friday. Mornings extended hours are available.
Infants
Granada Child care utilizes the Primary Caregiver system to support an infant's need for stability. We provide a consistent relationship with the babies in our care. This promotes a trusting relationship between the infant and caregiver and respects the baby's individual needs. The caregiver and parents communicate to fully understand the individual routine of each infant. When the infants are ready for solid foods, we together with parents develop a plan for the introduction of foods. Feeding is done on a one-to-one basis by the caregiver. Cribs are used only for sleeping. Babies are provided with many opportunities to freely explore and initiate their own activities.
Toddlers
Toddler program at Granada Child Care is a natural extension of Infant program. We focused on the whole child, carefully watching their interaction with their environment, peers and caregivers, thus learning about the child's individual personality and needs.
Preschoolers
The preschool program is arranged to provide children with a wide variety of materials and equipment to help children see their choices and learning opportunities. Children are encouraged to choose activities that interest them. They are respected for the unique way they interact with materials, activities and people and are considered a resource for the other children. We plan and guide balanced interactive activities that are open-ended problem solving.
Children help each other solve problems, share ideas in play and serve as cultural and linguistic models for each other. The daily routine is consistent and balanced between active and quiet activities. Each child is given one daily 15 minutes session with computer, to familiarize them with the different components of a computer and to teach them the basic skills for using a computer. Program designed for the best preparation of children for school.
Afterschool Program.
We offer transportation to pick-up children from school, help them with everyday homework and provide nutrition snack and dinner.

Below is the list of observed paid holidays during when the facility will be closed: 

 

  • New Years Days - December 31 and January 1.
  • Presidents Day.
  • Memorial Day - last Monday in May.
  • Independence Day - July 4.
  • Labor Day - first Monday in September.
  • Columbus Day.
  • Veterans Day.
  • Thanksgiving Day - (2 days) Fourth Thursday and Friday in November.
  • Christmas Day - 24th and 25th in December.

 

The day before that holiday is minimum day. Granada Child Care will be closed at 5pm.
